
WWE and NXT star KUSHIDA to appear at ICW Shug’s Hoose Party
Japanese sensation Kushida will replace WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett on the card of the Scottish summer wrestling weekend spectacular.
Insane Championship Wrestling have pulled off a major coup by announcing a world renowned star for their upcoming event.
The Glasgow-based promotion were forced to break the unfortunate news that WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett would no longer be able to appear at this coming weekends Shug’s Hoose Party 6.
With JJ scheduled to main event the Saturday night of the weekender, company owner Mark Dallas took to social media to assure fans an ample replacement had been delivered.
He certainly delivered on that promise, as ICW announced that WWE/NXT star and Japanese sensation KUSHIDA would be in Glasgow this weekend in Jarrett’s place.
Having just signed with the sports biggest company earlier this year, KUSHIDA is one of Asia’s greatest wrestling stars. A former six-time IWGP junior heavyweight champion in New Japan Pro Wrestling and a two-time winner of the esteemed Best of the Super Juniors tournament, KUSHIDA’s CV speaks for itself and he is sure to bring added excitement to an already stacked two days of entertainment.
He faces former ICW World Champion Jackie Polo on a card that features stars such as Grado, the Coffey Brothers, NXT UK Women’s Champion Toni Storm and many more.
