Wrestling community comes together to honour Lionheart at PWE anniversary show

Many of Lionheart’s friends have pulled together to make sure the PWE show goes ahead many of whom will be featured on the show

The wrestling world is still reeling from the loss of ICW world heavyweight champion Adrian ‘Lionheart’ McCallum. As well as being a world class talent inside the ring he’d shown his talent as promoter since founding Pro Wrestling Elite (PWE) back in 2011.

Since it’s inception PWE has worked hard to bring family friendly wrestling to the Ayrshire area. Their 8th anniversary show was scheduled to take place in the Citadel centre on the 20th of July and it has been confirmed that the show will be going ahead in honour of its founder.

Many of Lionheart’s friends have pulled together to make sure the show goes ahead many of whom will be featured on the show. This includes former PWE champion Andy Wild who said: “As the first ever PWE Heavyweight Champion, this show going ahead means the world to me. Adrian worked tirelessly not only to build a world class working environment for wrestlers, but to deliver a world class product to wrestling fans in Ayr.

“We have all come together to make sure that Adrian’s 8 years of hard work is presented to the fans of Ayr the way he wanted it to be by making sure this anniversary show still goes ahead.”

Wild will be joined on the show by current PWE champion and former foe of Lionheart Jackie Polo as well as Grado and others.

Tickets for the show are still available to be purchased at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/pwe-8th-anniversary-show-in-memory-of-lionheart-tickets-64485332365
