It’s safe WWE are basking in the glory of what was a pulsating Survivor Series 2019.
With the bar set so high the night before with NXT Takeover: WarGames, many wondered whether WWE’s battle for brand supremacy would get close.
The addition of NXT to the warzone adding extra fire to this annual affair, creating some extra buzz and producing a card of high quality.
Both the men and women of each show went head-to-head in traditional Survivor Series match-ups. What condition would the NXT stars be in after the punishing WarGames battles?
Speaking of punishment, Adam Cole had to quickly brush himself off to defend his NXT title in a match of the year contender with Pete Dunne.
It’s not quite the red light district when The Fiend is around, but the one down side of the character was back here. That didn’t spot Bray Wyatt having an entertaining defence of his Universal Title against Daniel Bryan.
Over on RAW, Rey Mysterio tried to avenge his son Dominick by dethroning The Beast Brock Lesnar.
It was a battle of stamina as Roderick Strong, AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura in a dream match on paper. And despite high hopes, the show closed with Becky Lynch, Shayna Bazsler and Bayley in the night’s biggest disappointment.
With so much to look back on, Ross and his panel go through all the necessary details from what was a great Survivor Series 2019.
