Another month down, another PPV in the bag for WWE.
The 2018 edition of Money in the Bank is in the record books and what an event it was.
The build-up heading into the show was met with mixed expectations to say the least. With a card which didn’t stand out to many and some questionable promo work – Lashley’s sisters come on! – in the lead up, it’s fair to say it was one of the least anticipated MITB shows in years.
Despite this, however, the show delivered in a number of ways. Seth Rollins and Elias put on a high-octane matchup which contains the Kingslayer’s impressive run of Intercontinental Championship bouts.
AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura ended their disappointing feud on a high with a pulsating Last Minute Standing. Despite half the crowd not caring, Jinder Mahal stepped up in his match with Roman Reigns.
And of course, the Money in the Bank ladder matches themselves produced their usual level of excitement even though they produced some surprising winners, with one in particular making a huge impact later in the night.
But for all the good, there was also bad. And my bad, we mean James Ellsworth bad!
Ross and his panel discuss the Money in the Bank 2018 PPV and also present the results of the sweepstake launching our very own ”Spare Change in the Tin” contract.
