The Glasgow Pro Wrestling Asylum has produced many of the country’s top up-and-comers.
Talent such as Ravie Davie and Aivil have become established performers in ICW. The Purge perform regularly across the UK whilst big things are expected of Leyton Buzzard.
Up until last year, it was feared Kez Evans may struggle to break out from the crowd. One of the first graduates of GPWA, Kez had the tools but never always had the platform.
Before 2018, his chances were few and far between. This all changed at Shug’s Hoose Party 5 Night 1, where he attacked coach and mentor BT Gunn. The next night delivered a victory over Gunn, and his career changed the better.
More chances came Evans way against the established stars in the business. With each passing show, he was continuing to improve. When you are placed in a stable ran by the company owner Mark Dallas, you know you’ve impressed.
One year on from his break out moment, Kez was involved in one of the prominent bouts on the Shug’s card. To those who regular follow ICW, this was a testament to his growth in the prior 12 months.
Indeed, Evans is staking his claim to being one of the GPWA’s finest graduates.
Making his ESSR interview debut, Andy managed to score some time with the Dastardly one. They talked about Kez’ training, his breakout year in ICW and his future career goals.
