The house party has ended and the team are still on a high from the best house party in wrestling history.
The two day event that was ICW Shug’s Hoose Party 5 delivered in many ways, with a stacked card from top to bottom.
Despite the unfortunate circumstances that saw the weekender arrive at the venue, the atmosphere in the O2 Academy throughout was electric.
The shows had everything that a wrestling fan would desire. We had high octane returns in the form of Grado – Like A Prayer in tow – and Liam Thomson.
Some of the world’s top talent descended onto Glasgow for the first time to add to the big show feel. The likes of WALTER, Jeff Cobb and Angelico showed those in attendance why they are considered some of the best on the planet today.
Hell, we even got a ballad of ‘With My Baby Tonight’ from WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett. As Aaron Echo would say, what a time to be alive!
Both nights main events tapped straight into the emotions of the loyal ICW fanbase.
There was the third match in the series between Lionheart and Jackie Polo, with the former determined to final get one over his arch rival.
Night 2 then climaxed with the All-Or-Nothing ICW World Heavyweight Title match between Stevie Boy and DCT that had watchers biting their nails throughout.
In a special bonus podcast, our team look back and discuss the matches of the 2 nights.
