The biggest event of the Scottish wrestling calendar has arrived. ICW Fear and Loathing.
This year’s event marks the third year that the Glasgow’s promotion’s premier event has hailed from the SSE Hydro.
It’s amazing to think of the journey the promotion has been on the first Fear and Loathing show back in 2007. From the small grounds of Maryhill, on to the city centre of Glasgow before hitting the big time in the Barrowlands Ballroom. What a road ICW has taken to back to this stage.
With an nine match card lined up for the evening, our team attempts to appropriately preview the biggest night of the year for UK wrestling.
This includes the final match in the blood feud between Lionheart and Jackie Polo. This time though, there will be gold on the line with Polo defending his ICW World Heavyweight Championship.
Three of the top talents the UK has to offer, Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven – collectively British Strong Style – make their ICW returns. The WWE UK trio take on the team of Wolfgang, BT Gunn and the returning Noam Dar.
ICW’s women take insanity to the next level when Kay Lee Ray and Viper square off in a Queen of Insanity Match, whilst brothers collide when the Coffey brothers face off for the ICW Zero-G Championship.
Our team look ahead to the big show, discussing the matches and our predictions.
