Elimination Chamber 2015 Predictions
Tonight, the Elimination Chamber makes its return to WWE as an exclusive PPV on the WWE Network. As per with every new PPV, it’s time for some more predictions! Here are the team’s thoughts on tonight’s card:
Neville vs Bo Dallas:
David – This should be a decent match between the two former NXT champions. It’s hard to tell whether Neville’s knee injury is legit or not so I don’t know if this match will be as good as his other matches but I have no doubt he’ll still deliver a good performance. Neville needs this more than Dallas to keep his momentum strong – Neville wins
Kyle – Neville wins
Stacey – Neville wins
Steven – Neville wins
Robert – I Think Neville will beat Bo Dallas to continue his growth – Neville wins
Divas Championship: Nikki Bella(c) vs Paige vs Naomi:
David – It’s good to see Paige back in action. The Bellas have been in possession of the Divas title for far too long and they need to drop it right now. Both Paige and Naomi have good reason to win the championship as it should continue the feud regardless of who wins. Tamina’s presence will definitely give Naomi an edge in this one and it’s about time she held a championship, albeit at Paige’s expense… – Naomi wins
Kyle – Nikki wins
Stacey – Nikki wins
Steven – Naomi wins
Robert – Nikki Bella to retain despite Tamina getting involved. It’s too early after injury for Paige to take the strap I think so Bella will retain – Nikki wins
1st Ever Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber: New Day(c) vs Cesaro & Kidd vs Primetime Players vs Lucha Dragons vs Ascension vs Los Matadores:
David – In my opinion, this will be the one to watch. The first ever tag team Elimination Chamber has the potential to be a match of the year candidate, at the same time it could end up being a complete shambles. All these teams will bring a unique style to the chamber, so it’ll be interesting to see how it will pan out. I feel the recently reunited Harper & Rowan would have made a better addition rather than Los Matadores, but I wouldn’t rule out a possible pre-match attack followed by a substitution. If not, I can see the winners feuding with Harper & Rowan in the build-up to Money in the Bank. This one could go either way but I think given the experience and entertainment value of Darren Young and Titus, I think they are most likely to succeed– Primetime Players win
Kyle – New Day wins
Stacey – New Day wins
Steven New Day wins
Robert – I reckon the New Day will win with Woods somehow getting involved – New Day wins
Intercontinental Championship Elimination Chamber: King Barrett vs Sheamus vs Ryback vs Dolph Ziggler vs Rusev vs R-Truth:
David – With Rusev’s injury this week, it’s unclear if he’ll make it to the chamber, but they could exacerbate his injury in the chamber itself just like they did with the Usos at Wrestlemania and have him be eliminated quickly after everyone gangs up on him. Again, R-Truth has filled a spot that I feel should have gone to someone more deserving, particularly Neville, so I don’t expect him to leave with the title. As much as King Barrett could do with another win, I can see this one going to Sheamus simply because it can create new feuds for him following his latest spat with Ziggler. – Sheamus wins
Kyle – Sheamus wins
Stacey -Ziggler/Rusev wins
Steven – Sheamus wins
Robert – I expect Rusev to win the strap setting up more at stake with his fued with Ziggler – Rusev wins
John Cena vs Kevin Owens:
David – If not the tag title chamber, then this is the must-see match of the night. KO has been showing the classic Anti-Cena attitude much like other superstars who have had beef with Cena, e.g. Batista & CM Punk, and this has turned it into something worth seeing. Expecting a huge divide in the crowd between die-hard and casual fans as this match happens. As with all of Cena’s US open challenges, I’m sure these two will put on an amazing match with Owens showing that he deserves to be on the main roster just like all the others, but I think Cena will come out with the win, simply because: Cena wins LOL – Cena wins
Kyle – Cena wins
Stacey – Cena wins
Steven – Owens wins
Robert – Owens is new to me but I like him, I really like him, he is gonna be huge if they use him right and it seems that they are currently. I expect a shock and for Owens to get the win, putting himself right on the map in the land of WWE and elevating him to the main roster, brandishing the NXT title with it – Owens wins
WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins(c) vs Dean Ambrose
David – Rollins and Ambrose are the future, there’s no denying it. This match is just another step in their epic rivalry that dates back all the way to last year. Ambrose can finally be considered a main-event star after a pretty rough start to the year. As far as holding the title goes, it’s still a bit soon. I expect Rollins to hold the title at least until SummerSlam in a potential match with Lesnar. In this match, Rollins has more to lose than Ambrose, and we should have a new Mr. Money in the Bank this year, which I’m sure Dean would fit very well. Regardless, these guys will deliver a brilliant match like they always do. The future has arrived! – Rollins wins
Kyle – Ambrose wins
Stacey – Rollins wins
Steven – Rollins wins
Robert – Rollins will defeat Ambrose with his usual help despite Reigns interfering for his pal Ambrose – Rollins wins
