Listen now on
2018 is firmly in the rear view mirror now.
The past 12 months has seen the wrestling world turns on his head once more. The WWE UK brand officially launched after years of speculation. ALL IN became the biggest independent show of all time and a non-Vince McMahon produced show sold our Madison Square Garden.
And that’s all before we think about the wrestling debut of Ronda Rousey ,the establishment of wrestling’s next big megastar in ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch and the first ever All-Women’s PPV Evolution.
But as exciting as 2018 was compared to some of the years that preceded it, it is in the past now.
2019 is only a few days old but there is already a tonne of rumors which could make one of the best years in a long time.
Wrestle Kingdom 13 is on the horizon. The show has the chance to give Kenny Omega with his main event win on the big stage that his NJPW career has arguably lacked.
WWE looks set to be headlined by a all female match for the first time in what is a historic shift in direction compared to where the division was five years previously.
Plus, we have what could be wrestlings biggest development in two decades with the launch of the Cody Rhodes/Young Bucks/Tony Khan venture in All Elite Wrestling.
Steven and his panel give their 2019 predictions in our first show of the year. They discuss what they want to see in WWE, NXT and ICW, plus some of their big match calls for Wrestle Kingdom.
